Lots of fun around the camp fire at night, I also found some time to do a little scraping.
Woody didn't come to bow hunt ,he came to help me cook and do a little squirrel hunting with his 22, Lots of them around there so he didn't have to go far from camp. :)

Woody caught this one still eating,You have got to love Glen's hat. :) :) Steve shot a deer,only got one lung so we let it lay a few hours,Steve and I made a great track but the Coydogs made a quicker one. >:( :( I hate that but it happens sometime. Woody cooking ribs and white beans for supper.Great meal. :)

Great supper then Glenn toped it off with a pineapple upside down cake over the fire. Wood got some new fleshing tools he got to try out on the hide Axex gave me,worked great. :) :) I think when I get this one finished I will have enough for my shirt. :) :)

Woody finished fleshing the hide and I boned the meat and got it in the cooler for it trip  up North.I finely got my project bow to brace so I did get something done over the week.Alex manged to get in a little arrow work done in between hunts. :) :)

Back strap steak for the last night,yum. :) :) Beau had to work but made it down to visit one night .Him and Gary had there traditional around the fire debate,after all the rest went to bed.The deer sightings got slim at the end of the week,got windy and hot so Steve went into the squirrel hunting mode,I think he wound up with 3,we skinned them and they went in the freezer for a later meal. :) :)

Steve was the only one to hunt the last day  :) That guy never gives up. :) It was a great week.
I made it home for New years with Miss Joanie ,ant missed one of them with her in over 40
years and wasn't going to start this year,she is to good to me,don't know why she puts up with it but seems to take it in stride. :) BigA also made it down for a day to visit,didn't see GregB ,but I am sure he was busy. ;) :) :) Hope every had a great 2011. Life is good. :) :)
