Good night sleep for her, all about the same this morning, in a good mood and no pain, vitals all good, blood pressure good/ sugar good and heart rate, still got oxygen tub in but turned off. If I can just get her moving, still some swelling in legs and hands/ arms but they are aware and supposed to be working on that. 🙏 Just took the oxygen tubs off, baby steps but still a step in the right direction. Glad to hear she's doing better, Pappy, even if it's just baby steps for now. All the best to you both! Miss Joanie is one of the sweetest ladies I've met.

Forward motion is forward motion. Every little bit helps her on her road to recovery.  :OK

Thanks guy it has been quiet the ride. Not so chipper this morning blood pressure and temperature fine but heart rate has been up since yesterday afternoon quickly up and down 110/ 140’s and just acts like she doesn’t feel well, the doctors have been watching it all night and maybe come up with something this morning. Heart rate/ blood pressure/ temps and Oxygen all good over night, got her setting up in a chair this morning and ate well, swelling has mostly gone down, plan to take temp. Pace maker out today and going to take her for a short walk if she can, still gets a little dizzy when she stands so we will see about the walking, they say just a little is the main thing and that she tries. She is in a good positive mood so that is good.🙏 Pappy

Thanks guys, still a lot of ups and downs but the downs don’t seem to be as big, still moving forward, hopefully we can get out of here and to rehab soon, at least that is our goal. Then maybe a week or two of that and home. Been 22 days and we are both ready to move forward. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers and just listening to me ramble. Pappy

I know it’s always such a good feeling to get out of there and get home.

Don’t rush it though. Make sure you are both in good condition. It’s really disappointing to get home just to go back again.

Of course there is no place like home and it’s so hard to get any sleep in a hospital.

I haven't been on here in a few weeks, I've been dealing with Doctors also. I was so happy to see this good news Pappy! I haven't wanted to pester you about Miss Joannie knowing what you must have been going through. I hope and pray she continues to improve and gets better quickly. Give her a hug from me and Kathie.
I will also be having my 5-6 hour surgery in a week. the Surgeon says I will out of action until sometime in the Spring.
