The grand boys showed up and had a ball in the creek, something about kid and creeks, very special to me for sure. :)

Shawn finished a nice little kids bow LorR handed 20@20, sweet, will make some kid very happy. Annie has became a real box turtle hunter, this is the 3rd in a week, I just take them from her and put the back where hopefully she can find them again.  :)

Last project was make a stand for the knife, not sure on the wood ?? deer antler holder and deer toe stop, :) love the deer parts, ;) all finished. Good weekend, hope yall had a good one also. Life is Good.  :)

Headed to the cabin this morning, got a couple of projects going but mainly just relaxing and doing some shooting. Did get my mineral/salt blocks yesterday so need to get the out, the doe are fawning right now and really need the salt, also go another knife in the works  ??? :) :) so will try and stay busy. Hope yall have a good one also. Life is Good. :)

Great weekend, beautiful weather until today, got a lot done in the shop and around the farm, also done some shooting with my buddies and some good eating. First thing was take care of the mineral licks on the farm, I have 6 that I have had for years, 2 block per hole. Don't really hunt over them but they are good for the deer especially during the hot weather. Sister use to run with me to put them out, now she likes to ride.  ;) :) :)

Finished 1 knife and stand and started another, the new one in 1095 steel instead of a file, getting short on files. The scales are camel leg bone gifted me by a friend. :) The 1095 works really well, got it cut out/shaped and blade tapered , now ready to heat treat and temper.  :) The heat treating came out nice, just needs cleaning up and tempered.
