Another saw in the works and also an ax handle out of walnut, not as tough as hickory or osage , but beautiful handle. GregB showed up with a beautiful 10 point killed with his Widow.

Dave showed up for a few days. Woody doing some Mallet work. I was gifted a Adz that needed a handle, I think I can handle that. My buddy Shane from Fl. brought me a load of cow horn for further projects. Thanks Shane. :)

Eddie gifted me a custom grunt call, beautiful, thanks Eddie. Eddie doing some napping. We had a big fish and other stuff cook out Saturday evening and Margaret Ann/Christina and Beau showed up. Chris and Shane supplied the fish. :)

Shawn, Ray and Keith showed up with more deer to clean and cut up, 1 with a smoke pole 2 with self bows. More napping. :)

Will making more tools and a point he knocked out. Me repairing my mallet Woody gifted me, the copper end came off so I made some repairs and it is working fine now with 8 brass pins. :)

Finely the FL. boys put some meat up, the hunting was slows for some reason and weather warm/wet and windy but they managed to take a 92 lb. doe and a weird racked buck. ???  Sister had fun tracking, Glad they went home with some meat. Hope yall had a good one also, I know I did and hope they also enjoyed it. I think they did. ;) :) Life is Good. :)

You are welcome Dave, enjoyed it. It is getting colder here also, rain this morning then turning cold, it the 20's for the weekend so maybe things will pick up a bit.  ??? Will killed a doe yesterday evening and Jimmy has one hit and is waiting till this morning to go track, little back he said. With the rain I hope it didn't travel far. :-\ I am headed to the cabin in a little bit for a couple of days and plan on getting some hunting in, if not I have plenty to do in the shop. Hope yall have a good one also. :)

Great weekend, no deer for me but great time in the woods and shop non the less. Few pictures of the happenings. Will took a big doe, nice deer for sure. Another hammer handle in the works for me. :)

Shawn showed up for some bow work and also gifted me with a cool sign he found on a dead fall out west. Case doing some spoon work, he is getting pretty good at that and has collected up a nice set of carving tools. :)

A nice hand forged cupping tool Case came up with. :) It was cold and windy so a good fire Saturday was in order, also used our new branding tool
 Goober gifted us,and seemed to work very good on the Cedar boards Bill and I  planked out. :)
