Man that sucks. It is sure hard to follow grain when it is twisting and turning like that. I followed the grain on the back on one only to have it blow because the back and belly didn't even come close to matching and the side splintered like that.

man, that sucks.  i was so hoping to see it through too.  not to add further sadness to injury, i was wondering what it would look like with snake skins on it as backing.  was you heading in that direction had it not blown on you.  my condolenences(?) to you. :'( :(

Don't feel bad for me :)  I was laughing 2 seconds after it happened  :D   As I get older, little things like this seem pretty insignificant.

It sure looked like a challenge but you took it for a long ride!!  ;)

  I had a snakey one, not near that snakey but it got a crack in it too but didn't blow!! But still fun!! 8)

Sorry about that,look at the good side,now you have another limb for the take down. ;) :)
Good attitude,it's just wood,like I said you never fall in love with a piece of wood or sometimes
you will get your heart broke a long with the wood. :) But man that sure would have been a pretty one.  :(
