This bow is a one of a kind piece of art. Colors are unusual for a bow but its nice to see something different. Can't wait to see the full draw.

Justin, the siyas are spliced to the wooden core and the splice is covered with sinew, no need for putty or any filler, just  blend the sinew into the siyah.( I'm gonna take a new full draw pic tomorrow and post it.)
JustAim, the ipe core is  2 1/2mm thick
Thanks, that was what I wondered. It is so smooth that you cant see the texture from sinew. I wondered if you used a filler or if the paint was thick enough to hide the texture.
Everything happens for a reason, sometimes the reason is you made a bad decision.

heres a full draw pic, The wife just took in our garden
Thanks for the compliments guys I appreciate them. Actually, I think the main difficulty with this type of bow is -patience-, all the individual operations are quite straight forward!!

That is very impressive, you really have some talent Dragonman. I like the blue color too, we don't see much of blue colored bows.

Thanks again guys, it's nice to get some feedback for your work, I only know one other bowyer >:(! shown a few friends but they can't relate to what they're looking at  and just look blank ??? only bowyers know whats invoved in making a bow!! but the real credit goes in making a bow with a good performance not just good looks. This one is not bad but coud be better, I reckon one of my boo backed ipe bows is faster!!!

Do  you  have  any  chronograph stats  yet,  be  interesting to  see what this style  of  bow meters:)
