Dane, the stitching is artificial sinew. I'm really not patient enough to do that much sewing with real sinew.  ;D

I received this wonderful bow today from KEGAN.....what a shooter it is.. took it out and did some bunny hunting as soon as i got it... even made some meat for the pot.. big medicine in this snakey bow.  Let me tell you Kegan should be avoided in a conflict at all costs.. ;D :o  ;) He must be tougher than an old grizzly, he said the bow is sixty two at 28... i strung her up and shot it about twenty times.. after I picked my manhood up off the frozen ground and realigned my spine I realized that Kegan only put that number on the bow to make me feel old and weak ;D   he really built this one with some heft, I have one bow that draws seventy five pounds and this new one is quite a bit stronger than that.. perfect for elk and bear... I shot the head clean off the first bunny with a broadhead..  The second bunny the arrow went through killing it instantly and I found the arrow seventy yards away buried in a fence post.. what a bow.. thank you young warrior for such a wonderful gift..I will try and do it honor and keep the good medicine flowing in her..Hawk

You tricked me with the sinew. It looks real. :)

Again, my deepest thanks for this gift. It will be well used.

Great gifts everyone. I swear I saw a knife like that in a catalouge once... for about $5000!

Hawk- Anyone who could shoot a bow that heavy in the cold bare finger redefines "tough"! I'm jsut so glad to hear you like it ;D!

Hey all, I just got back in from the field, so I will be wrapping up mine this week and getting it in the mail. Apologies to the fella I am sending to. I have had an overabundance of work and didn't have the time I thought. It will be out by the deadline though  ::)

As for work, we caught a beautiful 13 pound adult female eagle this past week.

Mine's almost done as well. I'll hopefully be able to send it out tomorrow, Wed. at the latest.
