I am new to building bows, and I like to know what would make a good bow string.

B 50 is good for a start, you can get from any of the folks that sponsor here. Here's a link to help.

I agree, start with some b 50, when you get comfortable with that you can start with some natural materials like Dogbane, Sinew etc.

i just got all my stuff to make strings and i use b50 and it works good for me.
a drawn bow is a stick 9/10 broken
