Hi guys. the snake bow made by woodstick came in today. as soon as i got home from school i drove out to my grandparents and picked it up. man this thing is beautifull. well, the second and third shots with it, the string came out of the nocks on the top limb. i called up mr. tim and he told me that he hadnt had the problem, and that just hitting the nocks a little with a file should solve it. well it did. after about 20 shots i was able to hit softball sized chunks of what used to be a 3d deer. man this thing is nice. really snakey, with a non-bendy handle, really short, and the nicest snake skin i have ever seen on the back of it. i cant wait to shoot at something fuzzy with it. oh, and this thing hits like a ton of bricks, and makes NO NOISE AT ALL. my glass bow sounds like a truck door slamming.
here are some pics, taken by my sister with a camera phone. now i know why she isnt a photographer.
this is full draw from a knee. one reason i love short bows.
this is full draw with a white background so you can really see the tiller.
all in all, i absolutely love this bow, and i cant wait to get in the woods with it. Thanks to woodstick, and all of you who had a part in this bow comeing my way.
