here is a bow i made for a friend of mine boy. it is 64" ntn 40# @ 26" not to bad for the first yew bow i made. i shoots sweet.

Looks good. The upper limb does appear a bit stiff mid limb on compared to the bottom but I wouldn't change anything. Congratulations! Jawge

it is but i was a little skerred with a soft wood, he has had it about 6 months now and shoots it every day alot. i just went in and put some more true oil on her and a new handle wrap. the old one was dirty and sweat stains. he luvs it so i happy.

If you're having to replace the grip due to wear...I'd say you've more then accomplished your goal, sounds like this boy is hooked big time! Congrats!

Nice Tim. I have only made a few yew bows but really like it. It is soft but so mine haven't dented too bad!

we was shooting saturday at a round bail 174 yards this bow at 40 # and mine a stcharles glass longbow at 52# and they were bout 5 yards from each other has got some great cast for a lite bow.
