Looking good so far,you done a good job getting over that knot.You also need to be very careful
when stringing one backward like that,if you go to much you will blow out the belly.

thank guys, and i will be cautious pappy. that was the first time i done that and i was amazed after steaming it how elastic it became even though it was still pretty thick.

also, i want to flip the tips and need to narrow them . wouald this be the time to do that or finish the tiller first?

Your "gizmo" must be broke
That right limb looks stiff about 6" out of the fade. The limb with the knot could stand to bend more too, but with that knot I'd leave it. I'd flip the tips now and finish the tiller, your string is getting close to 90 degs. it sure wouldn't hurt. I wouldn't flip em too much.

i worked on ita little and now i'll flip the tips as suggested. i hope this looks a little better. i think maybe i did'nt have my pencil lead out far enough in the last pic. its hare tyo keep it in one place for somereason for me.

heres the tips fliped. i'm not to happy with them though. they seemed to have a list twist in them. i'm sure its because idid'nt use a caul and just bent them on the kitcken floor till cool and strung them backwards till today. will it hurt to go back, reboil them and clamp them in a caul or leave them?
