yeah Timo, like the look of Osage belly, but hate the look of the back, LOL, big but, he ?
kegan, I do that quite often, allways worked fine
...how wide ? ...let me mesure, but I would quess less than 3/4"

Sweet looking bow Manny. That's interesting that you glue the overlays right over the backing. I never thought to do it that way - I'll have to try that.

Thanks Manny. Cloth backings and overlays have always given me trouble. You jsut saved me many more hours of messing up tips

Yeah kegan, once you've decided to back a stave is better to do it before the overlays are glued on, the transition than is much better
