.....well, I think that if a big boar come into range I probably would let it pass  :D ;D :D  But I think it would do the job on deer or goats, even small pigs.

The Danish oil is still really tacky,...I have a set of 5 1/6" ramin arrows that might fly good out of this bow, I will try them once is dry,...I might even take a video to show how it shoots

Thanks Guys.

after the Danish oil I soaked it inn coconut oil, the noise is completly gone, It's actually a quite bow, I was shooting 460gr Ramin arrows and it would definatly be a valuable hunting weapon,,......in the next few days I'll take a video shooting it too

I decided to get rid of the strike plate,...I like the way the Hemp came out after the soaking

Looks like a Killer Manny, and I love imagining when this style was bow was first done, and how hungry the bowyer might have been getting it together to get some food..

Oh that is too cool Manny. Now I want to try ;D. Did you just peel the bark and let it cure for a couple weeks?

thanks Guys.

Yes Kegan, just peeled the bark and put it in a hot car for a month,...if I had to do it again, I would get the 2 shoots a bit bigger and I would put a storter 3rd one on top

I gotta hand it to you, Manny, you've got panache.  Is that a sarong?  Outstanding!
It's so warm and humid here, that looks like a good idea.
That bow is inspiring.  Ditto, on the quiver question.  You make that yourself?  Where'd you get the information to weave that?

Thanks,

Parnell
