Fathers Day knapping
« on: June 22, 2009, 02:04:06 pm »
My wife decided to sit down with me and knap on Sunday. I believe hers turned out much better than mine.
Hers are from some flakes of Costal Plains chert. Mine are obsidian I think 1 piece is some dacite.

Nice points, Ya I can't see my wife playing with rocks, unless she's aiming for me :o

That grayish obsidian looks like some of Justins rock.

Good looking points Nugget. Come on up to Avery county and we'll break some obsidian. I hate to think what would happen to me if I showed my other how to fashion weapons!!

Good points Nugget.

You got yourself a good woman to play with sharp rocks.

Hopefully, see you at Pat's.
