Latest hickory bow

Here is my latest hickory bow. Kingwood handle 56 inches NTN. 25#@28 inches. Slight recurve to tips.

That's a crazy beautiful bow!!!!  The crazy thing is I am working on that EXACT combination as we speak!!!!  I hope mine turns out HALF as beautiful as yours did.  Peace!         :)    -josh

Here's a full draw picture (or fairly close to full draw). As you might notice the bottom limb could be stronger. I could take off a bit more from the top limb and have a better tiller and a slightly weaker bow. Probably will leave it and just try to do better next time.

The flash photo and perspective makes the bottom limb look thicker than it really is.

I think you're on the right track... leave it as is, and think about what you want to make better on the next one. All in all, a very decent bow, good work!

theyre just up the road from me. they have all sorts of exotics there. do you make flutes? next to bowmaking flutes are my #1 hobby.

Get mine from Rockler woodworking supplies. They sell wood for turning projects. Not cheap. $12 for a 1.5x1.5x12 inch piece.
