2 bamboo-backed ipé warbows

okay, I finally did some more work on the bbi's I had started quite a while ago. Both are 72" ntn, pretty short. Got one on the tillering tree, drawing 110#@30" right now. Aiming for 90#@32". I'm making this bow for a deal, I'll make a BBI warbow for 200 high quality feathers :p

other one has been done quite a while ago, and darkened quite a bit. Both will have a similar colour when finished, though. Aiming for 100-110#@32" with this one.

nocks, still unfinished

the staves

'bowyers mark'

first bow @ 30", drawing 110#. Tiller still needs to be refined

strung/unstrung

They look really good to draw that far at only 72" length.  I made a 70lbs @ 29" bbi 71" long for shooting at the marks and thought that was pretty short!  What are the approx width/depth at the centre? I've just cut a 74" x 1 1/4 x 3/4 piece of nice dense dark ipe from a plank and am wondering whether to make a light fast field bow from it or something more beefy!

Great bows thanks for sharing them wth us.
