How-To Attach a home made Bowfishing Reel adapter to Bow

This is how I attached a reel to my recurve bow. I used a piece of wood, and square lashed it just below the grip. Will post pics later.

here are the pics i had to use a board because my recurve has an odd shaped handle and i did not want to buy one of those thread adapters that u set in to the bow handle

Cool Sterling, looks like that should work nicely... why wasn't there a fish on the end of that arrow in your video?   ;D

 i just fixd my pond so no fish in it  :( but soon i will stock it with bait fish then put some catfish in it once the get nice and plentiful

that's an interesting way to do it. i use the same rig, but i flatened a piece of pipe and bent it to fit against the back of my riser, then drilled a hole in it and bolted the reel onto it. mine sits center on the back of the bow though, i like  the offset on yours, that might work better. might try that this summer. what do you shoot? gar? or carp?

both in texas we cant shoot game fish  so gar carp and buffalo is all we have to shoot at

yeah i dont think you can shoot them here either, but i havnt ever seen any carp where i shoot at, so its gar and trying to hit mullet lol.
lets just shoot it
