carragana's?

has anyone ever used carragana's for arrows? it grows fairly straight and is pretty stiff even when green.any ideas?

Never heard of caragana. Do you have a botanical name?  If it is straight, tough and pretty stiff, I'd say give it a try.

caragana arborescens
It's planted all over the Canadian prairies and I suppose the northern states too for use as a wind break and buffer strips....might know it as Pea Shrub, or Siberian Peashrub, or maybe Pea Tree.....
