Slingshots anyone?
« on: December 27, 2008, 10:21:50 am »
I haven't had much luck taking a rabbit with my longbow, but got to thinking....I hear folks have a much easier time with a slingshot.

Check out this old timer named Rufus from Asheboro...incredible!

As a species we're fundamentally insane. Put more than two of us in a room, we pick sides and start dreaming up ways to kill one another. Why do you think we invented politics and religion.

When I was a kid I used to make a type of slingshot that shot small pieces of wire.  I would take a piece of wire about 1" long and bend it in a V then hook that around a rubber band, the bigger the band the better, pull back and let loose.  Deadly on small birds out to 20 yards
