Last time I shot I broke 3 out of 4 arrows all destroyed by the evil cinderblock wall around my back yard. I need to figure out a way to keep my arrows from hitting it if I miss. Right now all I do is make arrows, at least they are cheap. ;D

Hi there,
I've been making 2 point footed/self nocked arrows for just over a year now. When finished they look very much thesame as your on the photo above. Using only hand tools (block plane, small thumb plane some sandpeper) I average about 1/2h per shaft so I don't understand which part of the process is taking you so long Jmilbrandt?

Show off! ;D I don't really know why it takes so long it's probably just because I had never done them before the first arrow took 6 hours and the last one took maybe four. I used the same tools as you so maybe I'm just not as skilled, yours look very nice.
