You guys let me know if you want me to get more of that rock I brought last year I can get plenty
but not sure how good it is most opinions of it last year were not to good

K. Ron, Maybe we can try some heat on it and see how it comes out. I think a lot of it was weather worn and had cracks running through it. But if we can break it down enough we may be able to heat treat it and get some useable stuff out of it. James Parker (Robustus)  would know more about it than I though!

That rock Ron has will not heat treat.. o have taken it up to 550 with no change..
That rock works best if you soak it in water before you knapp it. But i'v made some nice stuff from it.

Ron's rock is good material, it just had a lot of freeze-fractures in it. When you get a solid spall, it works good. More rock=good.

HillBilly, you get any of that i left at the sheal?
I left about 200-300lbs of it there.. i know Berry could not carry it all.

No, I didn't move fast enough I guess. Barry got some of it, of course. :) . I got a couple chunks at TN last year.
