Usually it means putting some reflex in the tips.

I would define it as bending slight recurves into the tips.

Putting relfex only into the outter limbs. Makes a bow a little more stable, but still boosting speed.

Pappy's the "flip the tips" king :)!

Flippin the tips is what you do when your bow takes too much set...then you can play it off as "I biult this nice reflex/deflex".. :D...Dont act like you dont know what Im talkin about guys,lol ::) ::) ;D....Brian
